Paul Lewis

Director Forces Recruitment Services

I am Ex Army and now Business Owner, work very long hours to help Ex Forces gain employment, also hold a Monthly Breakfast Club for Veterans across The Black Country, well my life is Ex Forces and going to Barmouth to relax, well I try too. Never done anything like this before and actually, I don’t think I am funny, BUT I do like a challenge and seeing my face on stage will make anyone laugh, lol.

Sarah Bishop

Managing Director Recruit Recruit Ltd

I own an independent recruitment company, Recruit Recruit, in Wolverhampton. With over 20 years’ recruitment experience, I have decided that, next time, I will open a dog shelter instead! Looking forward to proving all those people who say “you should be on the stage” wrong – when I manage to balls it up – so I can finally put paid to those dreams of entertaining people for a living!

Iain Watkins

Associate Director of Information & Data Management, Wolverhampton Grand Theatre

Although I work in an office crunching numbers much of the time I am one of quite a few people in theatre who think they are funny - so I am cautiously excited about this opportunity to put that to the test. What I’d also like to get out of it is alive of course.

Head of Marketing & F&B at Casino 36 Ltd

I am a Dad of two kids (8 & 10), I have a partner and a dog (Buster) and of course the goldfish... Dave... (have my son to blame for that...) I have worked in the leisure and hospitality business for the last 20 years and in casinos for 10 years of that. I am a sports fan, with my passion being rugby, which I played for years and also refereed in the years BC (before children). Scared to death.... challenge myself to do something I would not ever consider doing...

I am looking forward to the experience, I love working with people, people are just not predictable, and surprise you all the time. Having had a very varied and dynamic career to date ranging from managing events and volunteers at a charity to being a recruitment consultant amongst many other experiences, there should be many stories to tell! – Join me and the rest of the comedy newbies for a fun evening!
